Motor Housing Modifications

We completed the requested modifications to one motor housing to test and ensure that the requested modifications would suit our client’s needs. Once they confirmed that the modification was working as intended, we received 10 housings.

A couple weeks later we received an additional 20 housings.

The requested modifications consisted of the following:

1. Drilling of air jackets @ a 70˚ angle.

2. Machining the motor housing to the specified height.

3. Machining of internal edge, flush to the motor housing.

4. Cleaning and painting of motor housings.

3 housings were out of spec and scrapped.
